The National Trust recently voted to increase signage and communications across their sites to help raise awareness of ticks.
The Board of Trustees and vast majority of voting members supported this resolution at the Trust’s 130th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 8th November 2025. Backed by 70,881 votes in favour, the resolution shows a strong commitment to protecting visitors and local communities.

Improved signage and communications are sensible and straightforward steps that can prevent avoidable infections and help ensure visitors stay safe outdoors.
