We have prepared this MP Briefing Document outlining key issues around the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease.
MPs can help their constituents to Be Tick Aware in the following ways.

Displaying our awareness materials in constituency offices.

Sharing electronic versions with local Public Health and Education teams and Health and Wellbeing Boards.

Uploading materials to their constituency website so community members can download and print them for display in parks, schools, church halls, GP surgeries, coffee shops, hospitals, supermarkets, and vet clinics.
MPs can also make a significant impact by:

writing to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care;

lobbying for improved Lyme disease testing and treatment; and

raising questions in Parliament to highlight patient needs.
Additionally, improving local signage warning of tick related health risks is a simple but effective measure MPs can support.
