Describing what it is like to suffer with late stage Lyme disease can be a real challenge. TV Presenter and Content Creator Laura Edwards has written and produced a short film that does just that.
The film aims to follow the process for diagnosis, the difficulties Laura faced along the way and effects it’s had on her career and daily life, all the while hinting at the normally lighthearted nature of her creative output and interlacing it with the brutal realities she’s had to face.
Originally made for Buffer Film Festival, the film premiered in London’s Leicester Square Odeon theatre, before being released on YouTube in May 2023.
