LDUK meets team SeaSoar in Weymouth!

On 27th May 2023, LDUK Co-Founder and Chair, Natasha Metcalf, had the pleasure of meeting Team SeaSoar aboard their beautiful Atlantic rowing boat, Oardrey in sunny Weymouth. John, Niall and Sam were taking the boat out for some practice runs along the Jurassic Coast with their lovely instructor Duncan to prepare for their epic row across the Atlantic in 2024, as part of The World’s Toughest Row!

It was fascinating to have a tour of the boat which will be the team’s home for weeks at sea as they battle 20 foot waves and burn 5000 calories per day.

Lyme Disease UK is so honoured to be the team’s chosen charity is and so grateful for the awareness of Lyme disease which Team SeaSoar is raising with this incredible feat!

There are numerous ways to support Team SeaSoar – either as a corporate sponsor with a variety of sponsorship packages available or by sponsoring a mile for £20 via their Just Giving page.
