Announcing the winners of our Christmas e-card design competition 2022!

Thank you so much to everyone who took to their drawing pads and paint palettes to enter our Christmas e-card design competition! We loved seeing your entries, and feel grateful for your support in making this Christmas a little brighter! You’re an imaginative bunch and it’s put a smile on our faces witnessing your creative flair!

We take our environmental footprint seriously at LDUK, which is why we’ve chosen e-cards for this year: a carbon-neutral option for Christmas cards. Our supporters will be able to choose from our designs this Christmas and make a donation at the same time. The more donations we receive, the more we can support patients, and raise awareness of ticks and Lyme disease!

Without further ado, we are thrilled to announce our five winners! Drumroll please . . . . From left to right and top to bottom, we have Peter Roche, Jo Adams, Helen Mills, Emma Oliver and Sarah Mills!! Well done, everybody!

We were delighted to have entries from a number of different age groups, with our youngest contender being Peter Roche, aged 10! Peter’s excellent depiction of a cold winter’s day had us all reaching for our woolly jumpers, and we were delighted he was well enough to enter our competition following his fight against Lyme. No one should have to suffer with this illness, not least children. We were also impressed with the other entries, and loved the messages behind them all! In particular, Emma Oliver’s stripped back Christmas tree which she painted to depict how challenging it can be to live with Lyme disease, and Helen and Sarah Mills’ colourful cartoon-style entries which function both as Christmas cards and warnings against ticks! Who could also forget the beautiful robin by Jo Adams . . . What a talent, and need we say more!
