LDUK would like to say a huge thanks to Dr Eoin Healy, Research Associate at University College Cork (now retired), who has put together this wonderful video!
Dr Healy urges people to be aware of the different tick life stages, and explains why the smaller and less conspicuous nymph life-stage poses a greater risk to humans than the larger adult female tick.
This is an educational resource that can be used in a number of different settings. Organisations such as outdoors employers, schools and walking groups may find it particularly useful.
