Online Seminar: Dr Daniel Cameron “Lyme Disease: A Focus on its Effects on Children and Adolescents with Dr Daniel Cameron MD”

Daniel Cameron, MD, MPH, is an internationally recognised leader for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses. For more than 32 years, he has been treating adolescents and adults suffering from Lyme disease.

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1981, he earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota, which focused on chronic illness. After completing residencies at Beth Israel Medical Centre and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, Dr Cameron served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in Geriatrics at the New York College of Medicine. He has also been heavily involved in clinical research.

Dr. Cameron is the past president of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS), a nonprofit medical society dedicated to improving the diagnostic and treatment standards of tick-borne diseases. He is the lead author of ILADS’ evidence-based treatment guidelines, and is actively involved in raising awareness and in educating the medical community about the complexity of the disease.
