On 26th August 2017, over 800 people turned up for the football team’s fun day in beautiful sunny weather. Half of the proceeds from the day went to LDUK.
Wearing the LDUK logo, Adam Keil, the organiser said, ‘We are just glad and proud to wear your logo and will create as much awareness as possible for LDUK’
Ann, from LDUK, who manned our table said,
‘It was wonderful to meet so many families and chat about how to prevent tick bites and how to spot the early symptoms of Lyme disease. Many people had heard of Lyme and of local sufferer Kirsty Keep and wanted to offer their support and find out more. It was a great way to raise awareness with parents and children’.
Thank you so much to Adam, Ann, the Kestrels and everyone involved in such a great day!
