Local Patient Support Groups

There are regular as well as occasional local face to face patient support groups, not run by us, happening around the UK. Keep checking back to see if there’s one happening near you! These groups give patients and carers the opportunity to meet people in a similar situation nearby, make friends, offer support and give first hand information on local services.

If you know of a group that isn’t listed below, please contact us at lymediseaseuk@gmail.com

Train – Go to Winchester Station.  Exit the station and walk down to the traffic lights, walk down City Road to the next set of lights and turn right into Jewry Street. No more than a 10 minute walk.
Car – Park in one of the park & ride sites on the outskirts of the city and use the park and ride bus to get into the city centre – the bus stops near the junction of St George’s Street and Jewry Street – a short walk from the pub.
Car Alternative – if you need to park closer there are a number of car parks in the city centre.
Bus – Winchester Bus Station is at the bottom of the High Street near the Statue of King Alfred. You would need to walk up through the pedestrianised part of High Street to the Junction with Jewry Street and then turn right.
